Mommy needs a drink!

It has been WAY too long since I have posted!  I gotta get back on the bandwagon!  Since so much time has passed, I am just going to hit the high points!!

Easter - He is risen!
Easter was fun!  I totally dropped the ball and didn't get a picture of the kids in their cute outfits.  Bad mommy!  The babies had their first egg hunt and Caroline demonstrated that she is a pro at the egg hunting!


Liam was a wild man hunting the eggs!



Lilah preferred the eggs be brought directly to her!  She is far to dainty to crawl in the grass!

Sharing strategy for next year!












Getaway!!
The weekend after Easter Robert and I got to get away to the Four Seasons in Scottsdale, Arizona!  Thanks to my saintly parents who volunteered to keep all 87 children, we got to have some "kid free" time!!!  Thanks to fabulous Auntie MerMer we got to stay at the MOST amazing resort!  It was so nice to not have a schedule, not panic if the restaurant said there would be a wait for a table (because we had no screaming children to have a Chernobyl style melt down due to extreme hunger!), be able to eat at restaurants that did not have a kid's menu, sleep until we wanted to wake up instead of having the remote control thrown in our face followed by demands for Dora, and lay by the pool without worrying if someone was going to drown!  Aside from my mom having to text me to remember not to cut Robert's steak up at our fancy dinner, we did a great job of being kidless and free!  We did miss them like crazy and were so happy to snuggle them when we got back!

Dentist
Caroline had her first trip to the dentist!  I know I am behind on that - I had twins.  That's my excuse for everything!  It was interesting!  She thought it was the most fun place in the world - until they asked her to sit in the chair or tried to touch her.  Then, she screamed bloody murder.  Luckily while she was screaming, the fabulous hygienist Gayna managed to look in her mouth enough to pronounce her cavity free!

Dynamic Duo
Liam and Lilah have become quite the pair lately!  They really seem to enjoy each other now - and enjoy causing trouble together!  Liam calls Lilah "Lala" and Lilah calls Liam "Bubba".  Whichever one wakes up first goes to the end of the crib and yells the other one's name until they wake up!  While I don't always love the times they choose to do this, it is pretty cute to hear and see it on the monitor!

School's Out for Summer
We had an absolutely FABULOUS year at Kidz at the Cross this year!  Both Liam and Lilah and Caroline were blessed to have amazing teachers (with more patience than I will ever have) that truly loved them and taught them SO much!  I just can't believe the year is over!  They all changed and grew SO much this year! I really can't believe I have to entertain all of these people every day for the next three months!!

Whew!  It has been a jam packed last few months (hence the title of this post ;) )!  Now our summer adventures begin!  The babies will be ONE (NO WAY) and we are headed for the BEACH!  So much fun stuff to come!  I will do a better job documenting it!
